Pam and I were friends for sixty years, even though I have lived in a different part of the country for many years. We have visited each other occasionally over the years, but our contacts were mostly lengthy phone calls. I remember her and Brians kindness to my Mum when my Dad died (I was living abroad at the time) and so many instances of her thoughtfulness to so many people she cared about, even though she herself lost her lovely husband far too soon. Remembering fun times out in Liverpool and times spent with Norman and Iris, her wonderful parents, when I stayed over in Crosby. It is impossible to say howmuch I will miss her. My thoughts are with Sally, Andrew, Cynthia and other friends and family. Lots of love, Gill
